This set of print ads was part of a grand opening campaign for a family-owned chain of designer hardware and appliance stores wanted to promote its new location in a very trendy area of Pasadena. The ads (and their companion direct mail pieces) romanced the experience of going to the new store professionally designed to let buyers try out live demo faucets, stoves, fixtures, and even a 44-showerhead wall!
How many fixture stores can boast of a working shower display with over 44 working shower heads? The challenge was to make the Print Ad budget work while still keeping the spirit of the brand intact.
